Viewing Recommendations
The images on this site can best be appreciated on a calibrated monitor.
The full gamut of colors and the richness of details will be apparent when the monitor is properly calibrated with a colorimeter, or at least set to factory specifications, which can be done on current operating systems using the Adobe Gamma utility.
Optimizing images for the Web often results in a reduced color gamut, and loss of vibrancy and detail.Please, bear in mind that the colors and details of a finished print on high quality paper with pigment inks will outshine what you see on screen, even on a calibrated monitor!
